One of our neighbors has expressed his artistic skills
for the past 50 years to the pleasure of Southern Californians (and people all
over the world). At the age of 17 he won a national art contest, later
joined a Los Angeles Newspaper as staff-artist, illustrator, and designer of
the Sunday Magazine. During this 22 year period, Carl painted numerous
murals which have been published throughout the USA.
Carl has been using his impressionist techniques to create timeless scenes of
the peaceful American countryside along with English cottages and villages of
the British landscapes. By popular request, in the nineties, Carl began
his magnificent "Homes of the Americana" series. This series
includes Victorian farmhouses, manor of New England, villages on the lakes of
the Midwest, log homes of the West and colonials of the South.
The Bentley House Publishing has been the master distributor for Carl's work
for more than a decade. Carl is one of their top three artists with over
100 images published. |
