Don Quixote

I have set off on a grand adventure determined to win honor and glory in the name of my ladylove, Dulcinea.  I have only good intentions.  But there are times that I have difficulty in distinguishing between reality and the pictures in my mind.  Regardless of which world I find myself, I am committed to remaining true to my chivalric concepts of right and wrong.

Sancho Panzo

I am a simple person comfortable in living in or out of the contemporary world. Humor is the key to my sanity.  As such, it is to be treasured. Sometimes treasure is buried and one needs a map or special insight to discover it. My proverbs will help light your path.

To those who cannot see my light, take comfort in the fact that God does.  I endeavor to make eye contact with him daily.

Dulcinea del Toboso

Although you may never see me in person, I live as an inspiration to all the Don Quixote's who conceive of me as the perfect woman.  A knight can only be chivalrous while in pursuit of the heart of a Lady.

Proverbs are short sentences drawn from wise experience

Hasta la muerte todo is vida.  [Until death all is life]
Cuando a Roma fueres, haz como vieres. [ When in Rome, do as you see]
Con la vida muchas cosas se remedian. [While there's life, there's hope]
Todos los duelos con pan son menos. [All sorrows are less with bread]
Todo saldra en al colada. [All will come out in the washing]
Dijo la sarten a la caldera, quitate alla ojinegra. [Said the pot to the kettle, "Get away, blackface"]
