Don't be hooked by fraud.By hijacking the trusted brands of well-known banks, retailers and credit card companies, phishers are able to convince up to 5% of the recipients to respond to fraudulent emails. Phishing attacks are designed to fool recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, passwords, social security numbers, etc.The Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) reports a staggering 4000% increase in the six months between November 2003 and May 2004.
