The world of computer simulation provides us with experiences beyond those of any other media. This section of the Village Voice is dedicated to bring together those who are enjoying this exciting activity and to help others to join us in the excitement of operating our "Dream" machines interactively from our computers.

Megascenery was developed from space photos for the flight simulator Century of Fight. The detail is astounding. Alicia Parkway can easily be seen from the intersection with Marguerite Parkway, crossing the Lake Mission Viejo dam and continuing over the hill to Santa Margarita. Cypress Point is a point similar to an arrow head bisecting the Casta del Sol golf course. Gate 4 can almost be seen. The North Beach and East Beach show up well.

This is a far cry from the lines and polygons of just a few years ago. It makes flying the simulator "As Real As It Gets."
